GENES IN SPACE

First place winner of genes in space competition which is organized by the UAE space agency and MINIpcr in partnership with The National and Boeing. The project focuses on heat shock proteins, which are proteins that protect organisms from environmental and chemical stresses and the expression levels of these proteins in space. The winning idea was chosen from 110 entries and then five finalist teams at the Global Space Congress in Abu Dhabi. For winning the competition I get to send my chosen experiment to the international space station using a “Space X” CRS-12 rocket. WORLD FORENSICS CONFERENCE

I was awarded from the Dubai Police Major General lieutenant Abdulla AlMarri as the best speaker in the world forensics conference in Dubai world trade center. I gave a presentation about my goal to be one of the first astronauts who set foot on Mars and my vision to build a forensics lab on Mars that would help with detecting extra terrestrial life in and outside of the red planet.
